Anna Zhan and Josefin Halvarsson have received a prize for their bachelor thesis - 聽"Corporate Social Responsibility and the Cost of Capital: Is CSR priced in the Swedish capital market?"

The Swedish government has appointed Lena Gustafsson, Vice Chancellor of Ume氓 University, to the board of directors of the 海角社区下载 School of Economics.

The Diploma Ceremony for MSc students 2016 took place in the City Hall of 海角社区下载 on April 9. Approximately 300 students celebrated their graduation and received their well-deserved diplomas from the President of SSE. This was also the time for some students to receive study and thesis awards for their exceptional achievements.

The only Swedish Team to contest in this year鈥檚 Hult Prize Challenge is competing in the online wildcard round after being named runner Up at the London Regionals in March.聽

Two bachelor students in accounting and financial management, Anna Zhan and Josefin Halvarsson, have been awarded the thesis prize in Business Administration and Sustainability by the Research Institute for Sustainability and Ethics in Business (RiseB.se) at Ume氓 University. Anna and Josefin wrote their thesis "Corporate Social Responsibility and the Cost of Capital: Is CSR priced in the Swedish capital market?" under the supervision of Assistant Professor Florian Eugster in the spring of 2015. Congratulations Anna and Josefin!

Niclas Hellman, Acting Professor at the Department of Accounting, has received research grants from the Handelsbanken Research Foundations for his project 鈥淰ad styr f枚retagens val och efterlevnad av redovisningsprinciper?
