On June 18, 2025, the º£½ÇÉçÇøÏÂÔØ Institute of Transition Economics (SITE), supported by the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, hosted a high-level public seminar exploring the evolving landscape of international sanctions on Russia. This seminar also marked the official launch of SITE’s new Sanctions Web Portal—an open-access platform offering data, analysis, and resources for policymakers, journalists, and researchers. By combining cutting-edge research with an entrepreneurial approach, the Short Program at SSE gives participants unparalleled access to Sweden’s innovation ecosystem. Since its launch in 2021, it has rapidly become a flagship initiative, now strengthened by the involvement from House of Innovation researchers.

The pre-summer workshop at the University of St Andrews brought together 30 scholars from across Europe for a full day of engaging presentations and lively academic exchange. Hosted in collaboration with the º£½ÇÉçÇøÏÂÔØ School of Economics, the event fostered new connections and thoughtful discussion across management and education policy tracks.
