Predicted Grades and University Choices:
- You will be able to request your predicted grades as of next week.
- Research your University choices and make sure they match up with your predicted grades. Be realistic.
Checklist of what to fill out/sort out before arranging to speak to university co-ordinator:
Email the university coordinator at least two days before you arrange a meeting to send off your application. This will give her time to check through your application.
What will happen in your meeting?
They will check through your application and read your reference.
- Personal details
- Exam results (if you have come from another school - you need to bring your certificates)
- Other qualifications (e.g. Music exams, Duke of Edinburgh, French exams - you need to bring your certificates)
- Course choices - make sure you have done your research (e.g. do they accept Spanish) and your choices are realistic
- Money - Bring money to pay for your application
- Personal statement - Make sure you have stuck to the character limit. Put it into your UCAS application.
- Student Loan or Private finance - Check with your parents which option you will choose
