I hold the H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf’s Chaired Professor in Leadership at the Department of Management and Organization, 海角社区下载 School of Economics. I am also a Distinguished Visiting Professor at Hanken School of Economics and Honorary Professor at University of St Andrews Business School.
I am an organization and leadership researcher who addresses questions related to materiality, embodiment, meaning and ethics. My work concentrates on opening up hopeful ways of understanding leading and organising as relational practices. My work is also concerned with developing innovative, collaborative and empowering methods for producing knowledge about management.
My recent research interests include craft organization, food production and consumption, feminist new materialisms and the embodied performance of leadership. My work has been published in international journals including Human Relations, Academy of Management Learning & Education, Organization Studies and Journal of Business Ethics, among others.
I am the author of three books: Business Research Methods, Reading Management and Organization in Film and A Very Short, Fairly Interesting and Reasonably Cheap Book about Management Research and have edited six scholarly collections. I am a former Editor of Management Learning, an Associate Editor for Organization Theory and a Consulting Methodological Expert for the Academy of Management Journal.
