Art talk: Elisabeth Frieberg

During the summer of 2023 the Swedish artist Elisabeth Frieberg worked on â€“ and finalized - the site-specific mural Notes, Vihamanaafushi, Indian Ocean at the º£½ÇÉçÇøÏÂÔØ School of Economics. Welcome to this lunch talk with Elisabeth on December 7 that will take place in the artwork.

Notes, Vihamanaafushi, Indian Ocean, 2023, by Elisabeth Frieberg is a nearly 150 square meters mural that can be found in the premises of the school ´s specialized business program in Retail Management, at Saltmätargatan 13-17, connecting the ground floor with the rooms in the basement. The mural is based on color notes that Elisabeth Frieberg took during a visit at Vihamanaafushi, one of the islands in the Maldives, in 2019.

Welcome to this art talk about note taking, vulnerability, curiosity and play and the importance of imperfections. Elisabeth will be in conversation with Jennie Fahlström, PhD student at SSE. Moderator is assistant professor Fredrik Lange, also from SSE.
